Privacy Policy

If you subscribe to Full Access, payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not receive or store your full payment card number.

We may receive and store:

• Whether you have an active paid subscription
• Stripe customer and subscription identifiers
• Subscription status (for example active, canceled, or past due)
• The email address used for billing or checkout, which may match your account email

We use this information to provide access, manage your plan, process renewals and cancellations, and respond to billing questions.

We collect only what is needed to run the product for signed-in users and basic operations:

• Email address and account details
• Saved or bookmarked resources linked to your account
• Uploaded files and related metadata (such as file names, collection assignments, and upload dates)
• Operational data required for sign-in and saved resources (for example authentication events)
• Aggregate site usage estimates when you browse the site (see below). We do not store your IP address for this purpose
• Billing and subscription status when you subscribe to Full Access (see Payments above)
• Optional professional profile details you choose to share (role, practice setting, state, and years in practice)

We use this information to:

• Provide and maintain access to The Resourced Well
• Store and organize user-saved resources and uploaded materials
• Operate and improve core platform functionality
• Manage accounts and authentication
• Provide Full Access, process renewals, and manage subscription status
• Understand our user community in aggregate when you optionally share professional profile details (not used for ads and not tied to case search content)
• Screen upload titles, filenames, and a brief PDF excerpt to block likely client-identifiable content before saving

We collect aggregate, estimated information about how the site is used so we can understand whether the product is reaching clinicians and which pages are helpful.

When you load a page, we may log:

• The page path you visited (for example /find)
• A random identifier stored in a first-party browser cookie (trw_visitor_id) so we can estimate unique visitors over time
• Whether you were signed in at that moment (we do not add your email to this log)

This cookie is not derived from your IP address, and we do not store IP addresses in our site-usage table. Clearing cookies or using a different browser counts as a new estimated visitor. Admin and authentication handshake pages are not included.

Search text and other clinical queries are handled separately under our search logging practices and are not written into site-usage page-view logs.

We do not sell your personal information.

We use trusted third-party providers (for example hosting, authentication, payment processing, and private file storage) only as needed to run the service. They receive the minimum information required for those roles.

When you upload PDFs, files are stored in private, access-controlled cloud storage associated with your account. We store related metadata such as your display title, original filename, file size, upload date, and collection membership so you can organize and find your materials.

When you upload a PDF, we run a lightweight check to help prevent accidental uploads of client identifiers (for example email, phone, or chart-style labels). This check runs in your browser when you select a file. If you continue, a short excerpt from the first page may be sent securely with the save request so we can apply the same check on our servers. We do not store, index, or use that excerpt for search, analytics, or product features beyond this safety check.

We do not build a searchable index of uploaded PDF content or analyze full file text for product features.

You may delete uploads from your library; deletion removes the database record and the stored file from our storage provider.

The Resourced Well is intended for storing and organizing professional resources such as worksheets, handouts, assessments, templates, and other educational or clinical materials.

The platform is not designed for storing, transmitting, or managing client records, session notes, protected health information (PHI), or other client-identifiable information.

Users are responsible for ensuring that any uploaded content complies with applicable laws, regulations, ethical obligations, and professional standards.

Signed-in users can permanently delete their account from Profile → Account settings → Delete account.

Deleting an account removes uploaded files and associated account records. It does not by itself end an active Full Access subscription. If you subscribe to Full Access, cancel in Account Settings before deleting your account. Otherwise you may continue to be charged until you cancel through Stripe or contact us at hello@theresourcedwell.com.

When you delete your account, we remove:

• Your account and profile
• Uploaded PDFs from private storage
• Saved resources and Collections
• Associated account data linked to your user id

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Clinicians use The Resourced Well from many U.S. states. Your privacy rights are governed by the privacy laws that apply in your state.

If your state gives you rights over your personal information (for example access, correction, deletion, or limits on certain uses or sharing), we will honor those rights. Contact us below to exercise a privacy right. We may need to verify your account before responding.
