Brief 4-item OCD symptom check for triage. Not a diagnosis.
How clinicians use it
An official International OCD Foundation page hosting the OCI-4, a validated ultra-brief 4-item adult self-report measure drawn from the Obsessive-Compulsive Inventory family. Items cover washing, checking, ordering, and obsessing distress over the past month. A total score above 4 suggests further diagnostic assessment is warranted. The same page also offers the OCI-CV-5 for youth. Not a stand-alone diagnosis. Positive results call for a fuller clinical interview and specialty referral when indicated.
